The contest will be held in following nominations on information and communication technologies (ICT):
- Best book on ICT
- Best research paper on ICT
Papers for the contest will be accepted from 10.10.2016 until 10.11.2016.
Papers should be submitted in an envelope to the Science, Technology and Information Society Development Department of the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies. The words “Submitted for the contest” should be written on the envelope.

Requirements to papers
Books published in 2014-2016 are accepted for the nomination “Best book on ICT”. Books are submitted in 1 (one) copy. Preference is given to the books published in the Azerbaijani language.
Scientific papers published in 2015-2016 are accepted for the nomination “Best scientific paper on ICT” (except for thesis and conference materials). Scientific papers are submitted in two (2) copies in paper master by indicating the cover, content, copy of the paper (press sheet) and web address of the printed journal. Preference will be given to scientific articles of practical value published in journals with impact factor.
Personal data (name, surname, academic degree, place of work and position, contact phone numbers and e-mail address) on the author participating in the contest must be submitted together with papers. If the books and scientific papers submitted to the contest have co-authors, their written consent is also required for participation in the contest.
Each author can participate in the contest only in one nomination and with one scientific paper or a book. Papers that do not meet the requirements for the contest are not accepted. Books and scientific papers submitted to the contest are not returned.
Books and papers submitted for the nomination are evaluated by a jury and winners are announced. Winners will be announced on the eve of December 6 - professional holiday of workers of communications and high technologies.
Winners of the first, second, and third places will be awarded valuable prizes.
