Thus, the first workshops on e-government were held in Barda and Terter regions.
More than 100 citizens from different age groups attended the events, which were held with the participation of the representatives of the Public Unity of Patriot Educationist Youths, the Data Processing Centre of the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies and local executive power bodies, as well as local residents.
The participants of the workshops were provided with information on the importance of optimization of the official – citizen relationship and enhancement of transparency. It was noted that the lack of sufficient information on e-government restricts the use of electronic services by the local population.
The representative of the Data Processing Centre provided the workshop participants with information on 415 electronic services that are being provided to the population of the country through the E-government portal. He also told workshop participants about the advantages of these e-services.
Besides, online demonstrations of the usage of some of the most commonly used e-services were carried out at the workshops.
Upon completion of the workshops, the participants were awarded with certificates and prizes.
Note that the next workshops will take place on 4-5 November in Aghdam and Goranboy regions.
