A training on "Evaluation of Startup Companies" will be held on 7 November 2016 with the support of High Tech Park under the Ministry of Communications and High technologies. The training, which will be co-organized by Baku Stock Exchange, will be conducted by Director of Marketing and Sales Department of Borsa Istanbul Adnan Serhat Gorgun at High Tech Park.
The training will cover topics such as "Tools and ways to evaluate companies", "Special methods for evaluating startups", "Tools for financing startups", "Examples of evaluation of startup companies", "Post-evaluation procedure: startups’ preparedness for IPO", etc.
Those who wish to participate in the training must register at this link before 5 November 2016.
The training will be conducted in English on 7 November 2016 from 10:00 to 14:00 (Address: Nizami street. 203B., AF Business House, 3rd floor, Baku, Azerbaijan).
It should be noted that the trainer Serhat Gorgun has been running marketing and sales activities at Borsa Istanbul since December 2013. He represents Istanbul Stock Exchange at Sarajevo Stock Exchange, Montenegro Stock Exchange and Istanbul Gemological Institute as a board member.
At the same time, Serhat Gorgun is a founder of the "Galata Business Angels" Group (the first angel investment group in Turkey) and a member of the Union of Chambers and Commerce of Turkey’s Enterprise Capital Council. He was an investor or founding partner of more than 30 projects that have been implemented since 2006 until now.
