It was noted that the “Youth Inc.” Program was organised jointly by the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies, “Debate in Civil Society” Public Union and the Coca-Cola Company.
The program aims at developing the concept of “Young Entrepreneurship”, raising young people’s awareness of business and helping young people create their own business.
Deputy Minister of Communications and High Technologies Elmir Velizadeh also spoke at the event. He said that the startup movement initiative was put forward by the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies and that the movement, which was launched to support young innovators, has already spread to a significant extent.
Elmir Velizadeh stressed the sustainability of the activities carried out by the Ministry in this area.
He also informed the gathering about the activities carried out by the High Technologies Park and the State Fund for Development of Information Technologies with the aim of developing startups.
Then, representatives of Coca Cola, Nobel Oil and Executive Director of the “Debate in Civil Society” Public Union spoke at the event. They shared with the participants their views on the “Youth Inc. Business Academy” Acceleration Program.
Following the speeches, the ceremony of awarding of program participants was held.
The ceremony concluded with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the High Technologies Park under the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies and the “Youth Inc. Business Academy” Acceleration Program.
The document was signed by Director of High Technologies Park Seymur Agayev and Executive Director of the “Debate in Civil Society” Public Union Alekper Mustafayev.

The closing and awarding ceremony of the “Youth Inc. Business Academy” Acceleration Program was held jointly by the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies and the Ministry of Youth and Sports at the Baku Expo Centre.
