Technical Director of the Association Rasul Gurbanov told “ictnews” that a few more stations of “ONU” (Optic Network Union) type, offering high quality internet services to the people, were put into operation.
“In result of conducted activities new stations have been launched into operation in Kurdakhani, Savalan, Ramana settlements, and Makan and Shafag housing corporations. “ONU” stations, which are based on NGN technology, provide citizens with 62 types of services.
Apart from telephone communication, “ONU” offers IP TV, videophone and other multimedia services”, he added. Let’s note that this technology reduces the distance between a subscriber and the station and increases speed and quality of internet.
