The purpose of the workshop, which was held at BHOS with the organizational support of the E-Government Training and Educational Centre of MTCHT, was to increase IT knowledge of future specialists, assist them in choosing a career, as well as to provide them with information about e-government, e-services, e-signature, and electronic documents circulation.
The acting director of the E-Government Training and Educational Centre Rauf Jabbarov spoke about the dominant position of the IT sphere in the modern world and expectations arising from the development of this sphere. He also spoke about the support provided for training of professionals in this field and the activities of the Center in this area.
Then, the workshop participants were informed about the role the E-government portal plays in ensuring simplification and transparency of ICT in social services.
After that, engineer of the Data Processing Centre Elvin Jafarli told the gathering about the development of the portal and services rendered to citizens. He also provided the students with detailed information about the mobile version of the portal and information security.
The seminar, which continued with presentations on topics, ended with answers to questions and discussions.
