Thus, regular educational workshops on e-government infrastructure and its important components – the single portal and electronic signature – were held in Geigel and Yevlakh.
At the workshops, expert from the Regional Human Rights and Media Center Public Union Khalid Kazimov spoke about the “Promotion of Human Rights, Democratization and Good Governance in Azerbaijan” Program, which is funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and is being implemented by the Eurasian Cooperation Development Fund.
Speaking about the role of electronic services in the modern world, he informed workshop participants about the current situation in this area.
It was noted that citizens are provided assistance in using electronic services in Agdam city (in the office of the Regional Gender Centre Public Association) and in Barda city (in the office of Regional Centre for Human Rights Public Association).
“The centers have necessary computer equipment and internet access, so citizens can apply for any electronic service during working hours”.
Employee of the E-government portal Gunay Guseinova also spoke at the workshops. She told the workshop participants about the formation of the E-government portal, including the stages of its development, electronic services, electronic document circulation and the advantages of electronic signature.
Expert from the E-government portal Elvin Jafarli conducted a test of the most popular services before the participants.
The workshops ended with an exchange of views on the topics.
The scope of e-government enlightenment activities is expanding
Building of e-government and digitalization of social services is a constantly changing and renewable process. It also necessitates the participation of citizens in the digitalization process.
