Website of Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies to be launched soon

Unfounded information is spread in some media and social networks due to the fact that on the website  www.mincom.gov.az  the name of  the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan  has not been changed to the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies.

 

We are bringing to your notice that the Audit Commission continues its work towards resolving the issues arising from the Order of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev dated 13 February  2017, on the merger of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the establishment of the Ministry of Transport , Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan on their basis. The process of merging the two ministries is currently under way. After approval of the regulations and structure of the newly established ministry, its new website will be presented to the public.

 

At the moment, the websites of the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies (www.mincom.gov.az) and the Ministry of Transport (www.mot.gov.az) are available to the users. Contrary to what is written in the media, relevant orders of the head of state have been placed on both websites (in the subsection "Orders" of the section "Legislation").

 

Media representatives are requested to spare no effort to deliver correct information to the public on the measures taken in accordance with the requirements of current legislation.
