The work on bringing the line networks of electronic automatic exchanges in the regional center and villages of the region into compliance with the accepted norms, decommissioning the outmoded equipment, increasing the port capacity and installing new telephones is nearing completion.
In the regional center, the damaged underground cables with the total length of 2,100 meters were replaced with new cables to bring the subscriber line into compliance with the accepted norms.
The work on bringing the communication lines leading to Gunashli village into compliance with the accepted norms and building a new line network for installing additional 50 telephones has been completed.
Construction of 200 new line networks in the central street with the aim of improving the quality of services has been completed, and 100 new customers, in addition to existing subscribers, have been connected to the newly constructed line.
Work is now underway to repair and expand the communication line network in Guneshli village.
The work on reconstructing and expanding the networks in Adnali and Uchtapa villages is also underway.
During this period, the line networks in Mugan and Alar villages were also expanded. Consequently, additional 100 and 50 numbers were included to the line networks in these two villages, respectively.
Considering the requests from the residents of Garazanjir village, a line network for installing 20 new telephones was built in this area.
Currently, work is underway to reconstruct the line network in the service area of Jalilabad Telecommunication Node.
In the future, network reconstruction and expansion works will also be carried out in the other service areas of Aztelekom.
Telecommunication infrastructure of Jalilabad region being upgraded
