“A new 73 m high television tower was built in Guba to carry out broadcasting across the region. Presently, besides Baku and Apsheron peninsula, digital broadcast covers Ganja, Shirvan, Lerik, Agsu regions and territories surrounding them, including Karabakh.
Each of the mentioned regions has its own television tower. Lets note that our country switched from analog broadcasting to the digital one in 2009. However, in Baku test works in this direction started as far back as 2004.
Digital broadcast will cover southern region of Azerbaijan
According to information provided to “ictnews” by the head of Azerbaijani Communications and IT Ministry administration Vidadi Zeynalov , in the near future the southern region of our country will be also covered with digital broadcast.
