The Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies (MTCHT) continues to support innovative projects.
The next projects to receive MTCHT’s support are “Sletti”, “Smart Toys”, “www.joinb2b.com”, “I’m ready for school” and “Virtual Surgery”.
As we informed earlier, the winners of the next grant competition announced by the State Fund for Development of Information Technologies under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies were announced.
The “Sletti” mobile application, one of the winners of the competition, establishes a digital connection between the translator and the listener and digitally synchronizes the entire translation process.
The project incorporates two-direction functionality – “Translation for events” and “Individual translation”. The application enables the user to memorize the translated voice, mark important moments, write comments during translation and assess the translator.
The main objective of the “Smart Toys” project is to make the learning process more enjoyable for children and to help children improve their mother tongue.
The system consists of a controller built in the toy, application for mobile phones and a back-end server.
The toy is operated with a mobile phone. To connect the mobile phone to the toy, one should switch on the Bluetooth in the toy by pressing the button on it. The mobile application connects to the back-end server and retrieves from there the list of available fairy tales, information, and etc.
As the parent retrieves the required information from the list, this information is automatically recorded in the toy’s memory. The parent can also voice information kept in the toy.
“www.joinb2b.com”, which is a business network of commercial companies, is considered useful in terms of finding business partners.
The network “www.joinb2b.com” will ensure a direct interaction between the companies that are connected to it and other companies. This platform allows commercial companies to find other companies by choosing the location of the target country, city, activity field and B2B goals.
Besides, www.joinb2b.com makes it easier for users to find services, products and tenders.
The goal of the project “I'm ready for school” is to accelerate the intellectual development of 3-6 year old preschool children through making the learning process more enjoyable for them, to prepare these children for education in the school and to help them more effectively use technological devices.
By playing educational games in the products that were developed within the framework of the project, children will learn to count numbers, make elementary mathematical calculations, write in Azerbaijani language and draw pictures in an enjoyable way.
The winning project “Virtual Surgery” helps to develop a more accurate and effective model of surgical operations using modern technologies.
Thus, the 3D format of CT (computer tomography) or MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) examinations and the virtual planning of the surgical operations are transferred to a special holographic device.
After this, the surgeon wearing extra reality glasses places information from his computer in the operating field using special software.
