The exhibition was attended by information and communication technologies companies from different countries, including Azerbaijan. A number of domestic ICT companies demonstrated their products and solutions at the National Pavilion belonging to our country.
As part of his visit to Iran, Minister Ramin Guluzade held meetings with Head of Iranian Presidential Office and Chief of Staff Mahmoud Vaezi, Minister of Roads and Urban Development Abbas Ahmad Akhoundi and Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mohammad Javad Azari Jahromi.
A number of issues such as joint radiomonitoring of mobile networks in border areas, cooperation in preventing transmission of illegal traffic, coordination of TV/FM broadcast channels, coordination of frequency resources to prevent interferences were discussed at the meeting held with Head of Iranian Presidential Office and Chief of Staff Mahmoud Vaezi. The sides agreed to establish a joint commission for cooperation in this area.
At the meeting held with the Minister of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the sides discussed issues related to elimination of existing difficulties in international traffic at border crossing points with Iran and increasing international traffic in the North-South international transport corridor.
Exchange of experience in telecommunication, post, startup ecosystem development and other issues were the subject of discussion at the meeting held with the Minister of Communications and Information Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Within the framework of discussions, Iranian companies were invited to the international exhibition and conference Bakutel 2018.
