It has completed construction of optic cable in south of the capital under the action plan, according to sources in the Communications and Information Technology Ministry. “The optic cable that starts from Baku covers Sahil, Umid, Sangachal and Gobustan-Alat settlements.’
It will eliminate dependence on communication system of the capital on Baku-Astara TAE line. Now Baki Telefon Rabitasi will have an independent optic cable in direction of Alat.
Along with offering quality communication to Garadagh District population, the project also aims to provide economic zone and industrial site to be built here in future and Sea Port which is already under construction with information and communication technology.
Baku-Alat optic cable already built
