This information was provided to ‘ICTnews’ by head of Masalli Telecommunication Hub, Azer Aliyev. According to him, the new administrative building, which meets modern requirements, is ready for exploitation. NGN technology based station will be installed in the building.
A tender was conducted for this purpose, and the companies that won this tender will start installation of equipment in the near future. The new ATS equipped with NGN technologies, along with efficient communication services, will offer the residents all multimedia services.
Mr. Aliyev told that before the explosion The Masalli Telecommunication Hub had 16 ports. The new hub has around 500 ports. "Works are underway to connect ATSs in all villages of Masalli region to the central ATS via optical cable. This is a big project. Presently, optical cable is being laid to Khil, Godma, Onchagala and Tazakend villages.
ATSs located at Arkivan, Boradigakh, Gizilavar, Makhmudavar, Badalan and Kolata villages of Masalli region have ADLS ports that allow the residents to actively use ADSL services. Today, ADSL ports will be installed in Gariblar village, and next week, they will be installed in Sharafa and Bina Khochavan villages", Mr. Aliyev added.
