Schoolchildren get enlightened on how to protect themselves against internet threats

Aztelekom LLC of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies held a seminar on “Protection of children from internet threats” in Gabala region.
The seminar was organized as part of the enlightenment activities that had been held at secondary schools in Shamakhi, Hajigabul and Sabirabad regions.
During the seminar, which was conducted in an interactive manner, the participants were explained on how to protect oneself against harmful internet content.
It was noted that by using Aztelekom LLC’s “Information Filtering” service, internet users can filter web pages that may negatively affect the psychology of people, particularly children.
The service monitors and restricts the access to websites promulgating crime, immorality, aggression and violence.
So the service protects children from harmful internet content by blocking the access to unwanted websites.
Note that Aztelekom LLC will continue holding enlightenment activities aimed at protecting children from internet threats.
