The international land postal traffic between Azerbaijan and Georgia was successfully implemented at the “Sinig korpu” border check point under the contract signed between national operators of both countries.
This information was provided to ICTnews by Azerpost SE. According to Azerpost, the mail traffic between Azerbaijan and Georgia was implemented according to the Azerbaijan-Georgia Intergovernmental Economic Commission’s decision and on the instruction of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Under the contract, the mail traffic between the two countries will be carried out twice a week. Let’s note that previously Azerbaijan’s national postal operator Azerpost SE implemented international land mail traffic only with Iran.
