According to information provided by Azerpost LLC, more than 60 thousand domestic parcels have been delivered by post within the country this year. "Today, 3 types of parcels can be sent by mail in Azerbaijan.
They are ordinary parcels, parcels with a quoted price and international parcels." The information also says that most of domestic parcels are sent to Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, as well as to Beylagan, Agjabedi and Kazakh regions. The least number of domestic parcels are sent to Yardimli, Siyazan and other mountain regions.
As to the regions of the country, most of domestic parcels come to Baku from Khachmaz, Ganja, Shamkir regions.
At the same time, most of international parcels are sent to Azerbaijan from Turkey, Israel and Russia. It should be noted that mail deliveries are carried out in Azerbaijan by both state and private postal companies.
