Provision of lump sum payments continues on daily basis at post offices

The process of providing lump sum payments (190 AZN) to the unemployed and low-income persons who have lost their jobs due to the special quarantine regime continues on a daily basis at the post offices of Azerpost LLC under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies.

When the amount is transferred, an SMS notification of a lump sum payment is sent to the citizens. Upon receiving such a message, they get permission to leave the house in the appropriate manner, and apply to any post office (if Azerpost LLC is indicated in SMS message), or to any branch of a bank (if a bank is indicated) with an ID card and receive funds.

It should be noted that the objective is to further improve the level of services provided to the population in a special quarantine regime applied by the Azerbaijani government, as well as to ensure efficiency in the process of providing lump sum payments to unemployed persons, post offices located in Baku and the regions provide services to citizens every day from 09:00 to 18:00, including Sundays.

Along with the capital, “Shebeke” service centers in Sumgait, Jalilabad, Zagatala and Aghdash continue to work on the same working hours.

Rural post offices work according to the previous schedule – from 09:00 to 17:00.
