Azerpost, Turkish Post sign agreements
Agreements have been signed between Azerpost LLC under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, Turkey’s state-run Post and Telegraph Organization (PTT) and Aktif Bank. The documents provide for the mutual exchange of international postal items containing goods through the payment transfer system, as well as between Azerpost and PTT.
It should be noted that the agreements signed between the entities in the field of postal and financial services will create new opportunities for mutual cooperation.
Under the agreement on cooperation in the payment transfer system, the two postal operators will provide joint services to the population at more favorable rates. In accordance with the agreement, Azerpost LLC and PTT agreed to use the payment transfer system provided by Aktif Bank. The Bank has created conditions for the parties to connect to the payment transfer system and use the services for issuing payment orders. One of the positive aspects of the project is that citizens will be able to use the service at lower rates at any post office of Azerpost and PTT.
In accordance with the cooperation agreement on the mutual exchange of international postal items containing goods, e-commerce goods will be delivered to the market at reasonable prices. The implementation of the agreement will further increase the volume of mail exchanged between the two countries.
