During the meeting, which was held in Shamkir on September 30, with the participation of the heads of the relevant structural divisions of the Ministry, Ramin Guluzade listened to appeals from the residents of Shamkir, Tovuz, Agstafa, Gazakh and Gadabay regions.
The appeals were mainly concerned with the quality of services being rendered to the population in the spheres of telecommunications, mail, internet and TV & radio broadcasting, recruiting, etc. The appeals that didn’t fall within the scope of the Ministry’ activities were also registered so that to be forwarded to the relevant bodies.
Most of the problems raised by citizens were solved on the spot. Ramin Guluzade gave instructions to the heads of relevant departments for solving the remaining problems.
Within the framework of the regional visit, the Minister also held a meeting with the heads of regional telecommunication nodes and post offices. During the meeting, extensive discussions were held on the current situation in the sector, shortcomings, service quality and citizens’ complaints.
It was noted that the main purpose of the works and reforms carried out by the Ministry is to ensue citizens' satisfaction with the quality of services. Also, during the meeting, Ramin Guluzade gave instructions to the heads of relevant departments for improving the quality of services.
